Are you seeking employment opportunity in child care? We are looking for a motivated Child Carers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Childcare Assistant in supervising and engaging with children during various activities.
- Help maintain a clean and organized childcare facility.
- Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks to children.
- Support the Childcare Assistant in implementing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Foster positive and respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures regarding childcare.
Requirements:
- A minimum Level 4 qualification in child care (applicants in the final stages of the qualification shall also be considered)
- A certification in Paediatric First Aid
- A certification in Food Handling
- Good communication skills in Maltese and English
- Two-character references with the application
- Recent police conduct
- Hands-on
- A positive and friendly attitude towards children
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt according to changing daily requirements
- A creative flair
Minimum Qualification:
- MQF Level 4 Award in childcare: Applicants must hold a minimum qualification of MQF Level 4 in childcare. This qualification ensures a foundational understanding of childcare principles and practices.
Preferred Qualification:
- Applicants currently reading for the course or interested in reading for the system while working can also be considered. We value individuals who are eager to further their education and develop their skills while gaining practical experience.
